About Me
Alison Silva is a self-taught artist, born in Queens, New York.
Her work illuminates whimsical landscapes, mystical creatures and sensitive self- portraits mingling in mysterious realms. Silva’s paintings have been exhibited in the United States, Europe, and Australia. She has designed the cover art for Labyrinth by East Bay Ray (Dead Kennedys) in 2009, Echoes of Edensong By Edensong in 2010, a painting for Dante Tomaselli’s “Torture Chamber”, and more. The fantastic and peculiar worlds depicted in Lewis Carroll’s classic novel, “Alice Through the Looking Glass”, have been a most enduring influence. Alison’s story has been featured on ABC, CBS, and NBC news.
